Trump’s attempt to link the so-called “Abraham Accords” to any agreement to end the unlawful aggression against Iran is yet another assault on international law, and an effort to advance the Israeli regime’s project of genocide in Palestine by ensuring both impunity and normalization for the Israeli regime, even as the genocide continues.
Any state that caves to Trump’s vulgar bullying would be in breach of its ICJ-affirmed obligations to refrain from diplomatic or economic relations with the regime while the unlawful occupation, apartheid, and genocide continue.
The Israeli regime must be held accountable for its international crimes, as must US perpetrators. The age of US and Israeli impunity and of international cowardice and complicity must end.
