China built an oil refinery in Africa, and Europeans got angry.

Translated from Turkish
China built an oil refinery in Africa, and Europeans got angry. Nigeria, thanks to China, has started selling gasoline instead of just oil. Despite being one of Africa's largest oil producers, Nigeria had no refinery. China built the $20 billion Dangote Oil Refinery. As a result, approximately 44,000 barrels of gasoline were exported per day in March. A single shipment of 317,000 barrels reached Mozambique — marking the first delivery to East Africa. The refinery, based in Lagos and operating at ≈94% of its 650,000-barrel-per-day capacity, meets domestic demand with the surplus shipped abroad. Production is projected to reach 1.4 million barrels per day within three years. This will make it Africa's largest refinery.
