In recent days, we've heard a lot about the term "Abraham Accords." So, what is this agreement, and why is America seeking to bring Islamic countries into it?

The idea of the agreement is to grant Israel political, economic, and security acceptance in the region, while the occupation remains in place, settlement activity continues, Jerusalem is under Judaization, Gaza is under siege and destruction, and the Palestinian people have no real state and no full rights.

These are the agreement's basic provisions:

- Establishing full diplomatic relations... opening embassies, appointing ambassadors, and normalizing official relations between the two parties.

- Peace and full normalization... complete normal relations between Israel and the signatory states.

- Economic and trade cooperation... opening doors to trade, investment, companies, technology, markets, and financial agreements with Israel.

- Direct flights and travel... operating direct flights, facilitating visas, and encouraging mutual tourism.

- Security and strategic cooperation... although some details are not always publicly announced, the spirit of the agreement opens the door to broader security and political coordination between Israel and the signatory states.

- Cultural and educational exchange... educational programs, visits, cultural events, and changing Israel's image in the Arab public consciousness through "people-to-people peace."

And all this in exchange for what? Nothing...

The agreement gives Israel recognition, relations, and gains, but it does not require it to withdraw from the occupied territories, stop settlement activity, or establish a sovereign Palestinian state.
