Iranians rally on the streets with chants of ‘they started the war, we will finish it’ The ridiculous neocon assumption was that Iranians would support the bombing and slaughtering of thousands of their own people by the US and Israel… Which would lead Iranians to take to the streets and overthrow their government. Instead, the result of this neocon foolish foreign policy? Iranians rallied to support the government instead. Whatever your view of the Islamic Republic of Iran, the conclusion is obvious: this has been an embarrassing foreign policy failure for Washington, which was convinced to attack by Tel Aviv.
