For agreeing to negotiations despite the U.S. withdrawal from the JCPOA and EU's betrayal, and then being bombed twice while new negotiations were underway to reach yet another diplomatic resolution? Did the EU, the self-proclaimed champion of human rights, dare condemn the United States for slaughtering 168 schoolgirls and call for an international investigation into this war crime? Did it dare condemn the double-tapping of sites to kill rescue crews as they arrived? Did the EU dare condemn the targeting of schools, residential buildings, cultural heritage sites, desalination facilities, banks, roads, police stations, pharmaceutical factories, and power plants? Did the EU dare condemn the use of U.S. military bases in neighboring countries to strike Iran in blatant violation of the UN Charter? Did the EU dare condemn Donald Trump’s threats to strike Iran in a way that would leave the Iranian nation unable to rebuild? Did it condemn attempts to foment unrest inside Iran? How much lower is the EU prepared to sink?
