The 47 year war narrative is beyond stupid. It’s such a distortion of the facts and truth as would have made Joe Stalin proud. Starting at the beginning: hezbollah were local shiite living in southern Lebanon where Israel brutally invaded their country and president reagan mistakenly sent the marines as peacekeepers. They got caught in the crossfire of a foreign war we had no business meddling in. Next, the CIA used satellite imagery to help Saddam Hussein drop chemical warfare on Iranian troops during the Iraq/Iran war of the 1980s. Then the US shot down an Iranian civil airliner and killed 285 men, women &. Children. And then things went downhill from there, and we are still in the 1980s!! The 47 year war narrative is just israeli propaganda designed to bamboozle gullible, uninformed and often stupid people.
