Iran denied firing a single missile at Diego Garcia — the most strategically significant US base in the Indian Ocean, 4,000 kilometres from Iranian territory and frankly, given that Iran’s hypersonic missiles have been threading Israeli air defence systems with surgical precision for 73+ waves straight, the idea that they suddenly couldn’t find a fixed island base the size of a small town is… convenient.
Now the White House is posting Trump’s February 24 State of the Union clip as vindication — the moment he warned Iran had missiles that could reach Europe and soon America. What they’re not posting is the part where Trump and Netanyahu then launched a war that murdered the one man who had voluntarily kept a governor on Iran’s ballistic missile range.
Khamenei’s 2,000km ceiling wasn’t a technical limitation, but a political choice, the same way a car manufacturer fits a speed limiter on an engine that can do 200mph. The engine always had the capability. The limiter was a decision. They killed the decision-maker and then feign shock that the limiter could in theory come off.
This is the most ridiculous attempt at self-fulfilling prophecy in modern history a man warns the house might burn, lights the match himself, and presents the ashes as evidence of his foresight.
By launching this war they created the exact threat they cited to justify it, handed Iran every reason to demonstrate capabilities it had previously chosen to conceal, and removed every political incentive Tehran had to exercise restraint… and now they’re calling that being right even though Iran still showed restraint.
Diego Garcia conveniently "missed" by precession missiles almost in capable of missing such a target that Iran denies firing, hitting a target Iran’s precision systems somehow missed despite not missing much else for 22 days. The Lavon Affair was 1954. Some things don’t change right ISRAEL?
