URGENT INSIGHT: For Iran, This is EXISTENTIAL! 
Col. Douglas Macgregor () warns on #IranConflict: "A lot of this Chinese technology on the air defense side is new. It hasn't been tested in combat. So it's very difficult to distinguish hyperbole from what could be real."
"But the point is, it doesn't matter. What we need to understand is that for Iran, this is an existential war."

Bombing Iran won't fix anything for the U.S.—it's a path to strategeci failure at best or - in a worst case scenario - an eventual military defeat. No one though it was even possible the US could lose to the Taliban in the mid-2010s, but it happened. And who would have imagined hat after only 7 weeks, we would abandon a fight against the Houthis, yet that, too happened. Our position aginst Iran is nowhere near as iron-clad as many of the most boistrous war-lusters would have us all believe.
