From Mafia to CIA: The Shadowy Birth of U.S. Intelligence
In a podcast released on 20 January 2026 by Ahmad Malik, former investment banker Simon Dixon, now a vocal critic of the global banking system, detailed the shadowy origins of the American intelligence apparatus. He described how the Office of Strategic Services (OSS) was formed during World War II through a clandestine network involving the Jewish and Italian mafias, British MI6, and even elements of the Nazi regime. This secret coalition, he argues, eventually morphed into the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) in 1947.
Drawing on his experience as a financial insider, Dixon explained how the birth of the CIA coincided with the rise of the U.S.-funded IMF and World Bank. He asserts that these institutions function as tools for Washington’s imperialist interests, allegedly funding terrorists in strategic regions to manufacture chaos. This instability allows the U.S. to secure direct access to the mineral wealth of nations across Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean.
Furthermore, Dixon highlighted a more brutal, modern strategy employed by Washington: the weaponisation of the media. He claims that compliant journalists are used to disseminate manufactured lies, providing the necessary pretext for the direct invasion and bombing of sovereign, oil-rich nations like Venezuela and Nigeria to further U.S. hegemonic goals.
