Nurit Peled-Elhanan is an Israeli scholar and activist, co-winner of the 2001 Sakharov Prize. A professor at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, she is known for exposing anti-Palestinian bias in Israeli textbooks, supporting the BDS movement, and criticizing Zionism and global leaders for promoting Islamophobia and obstructing peace.
