The Israeli media detect the American hesitance. The Ginger Caligula has been cornered by his operators in Jerusalem. N12 reports today:

“The president has been holding off on his decision for more than a month, with several factors likely to convince him to reduce his involvement in Iran. A series of polls conducted in the past month indicate strong opposition among the American public to war. Trump has promised to avoid foreign wars, and a significant portion of his base holds separatist positions. Some of the president's advisers are urging him to avoid action in Iran, especially because of the USA scheduled midterm election…”

But the problems posed by the psychopath at the helm are more than just a "political matter." Iran doesn’t seem to blink. It poses a serious military threat to American forces in the region. American generals do grasp that Iran’s capabilities are unknown. The very few of them who exceed the 70 IQ mark understand that the number one rule of war is uncertainty: You know where you start. You never know where you end. Iran is invested in asymmetric warfare and no modern military has figured out how to effectively deal with it.

The IDF is the best example of the above. It has stained the Jewish State and world Jewry with the most documented genocide in world history. And yet, it didn’t achieve a single one of its military objectives.

But the American situation is even worse. The American generals cannot even figure out what the military objectives are that they are supposed to fulfill. Is it dismantling Iran’s nuclear infrastructure that is supposed to be 'gone,' or is it simply 'regime change' with a non-existent alternative on the ground?

If American generals were true American patriots, they should have deployed their units around the White House and demanded that the malignant narcissist in power comply with his promise to the American people to avoid wars at all costs.
