Sometimes it feels like Americans love their empire more than they love their own children.
They will send their kids to die in deserts for oil and contracts, then put a sticker on the car that says "proud parent."
They will watch their schools starve while the Pentagon budget grows, and somehow conclude that the problem is not enough patriotism.
What do you do with a people who will sacrifice their own future to protect the myth that is killing them?
