According to Jordan Peterson, India that had survived and thrived for 5,000 years before the British Raj didn't know what governance was about. It was British colonization that taught places like India governance. Someone should tell Peterson that before the British Raj, India had: The Indus Valley Civilization Vedic Period The Second Urbanization & Mahajanapadas The Mauryan Empire Gupta Empire Mughal Empire The Maratha Empire and Regional States: Etc. It is actually an insult to claim that the British introduced the concept of state and governance to places such as India. But, this is the typical self serving narratives people like Peterson use in justifying the atrocities they committed across the world. It's self delusion as a coping mechanism.
