As Netanyahu seeks to prolong the geostrategic uncertainty that will ensure his votes in the upcoming elections, the great majority of Jewish Israel is only growing more convinced of Israel's certitude: genocide is the only "solution".
This conviction runs the gamut, from divinely sanctioned annihilation to "what else can you do?". Israeli Jews are working hard to persuade themselves that an existential battle is at stake between "liberals" and "messianics". There is no such battle. The consensus is broad and deep - Israel was right to perpetrate and amplify the genocide. The Palestinians should not exist here. While some think "they" should die, others will settle for their forced expulsion (ethnic cleansing). Others still will simply deny anything is happening. These nuances carry meaning only within the walls of the asylum. Believe what you see, hear and read.
