"Evil, I think, is the absence of empathy" (Gustave Mark Gilbert, American psychologist). Gilbert observed high-ranking Nazi officials during the Nuremberg trials. He said that he was looking for, "the nature of evil," and believed that he came close to its explanation with this explanation. Now, consider so-called Christians who are claiming that empathy is toxic. And be warned. This is absolute evil masquerading as good!
