Zionism has has generated the very thing it has been banging on about. What is giving rise to antisemitism? First the genocide, then no criticism of the genocide, then the constant push to silence Australians critical of Israel with more and more laws. People have been getting angrier and angrier. This was inevitable. Congratulations. Zionism has created so much hatred in this country and around the world - sackings, lawfare, trolling on social media, calling people Amalek, sending people - including me - bombs with their names on them, pushing for institutions to silence staff critical of the genocide, pushing politicians to silence Australians with laws. Zionist leaders here and elsewhere have created a right mess. What this shows is they have too much influence for their own good. I have never heard such language in Australia being used against Jews. I have never seen such anger towards Jews in Australia. Zionist leaders have made Jewish people targets of extreme hostility. And our political leadership is bending over backwards to help them do it! Public trust in their ability to act in ways that nurture social cohesion is about zero.
