The role of the state is being reduced to firepower to control revolt. All the dreams that the state can guarantee social services and infrastructure are being broken. Under such a state, there's no need for Congress either, since the relationship between the state and the people is only violence for profit. So there's no point of a Senate hearing. The Senate has already been corrupted by the same corporations who fund the campaigns anyway. The US is imploding on itself.
