Lesson: you cannot defend your nation if you don't defend your information space - not in the 21st century.
If you carry a Western phone, computer, and use Western software - if your government is dependent on Western software/hardware - you are not only not "secure," you are at the mercy of foreign interests.
You cannot justify a military budget to "defend" your nation while neglecting your information space - a national security domain as important as airspace, land borders, and shores.
