Street violence is reframed as “protest,” sabotage as “resistance,” and sanctions that hit civilians as “democratic tools.” When shops burn, homes are attacked, or emergency services are targeted, Western media either stays silent or blames the state for “provoking” the violence. The people paying the price are always those on the ground — never the figures inciting chaos from abroad. The instigators stay comfortable. The countries are destabilized. And the West calls it democracy.
