Zionists keep pushing the myth that “Arab states expelled 800,000 Jews in 1948.” This mythologising is propaganda, manufactured in the 1970s to blur the truth of the Nakba and dodge accountability.
Historians across the board reject the false “two equal expulsions” narrative. Most Jewish migration from the region happened under varied circumstances; from Aliyah and economic hardship to the newly found independence of Middle Eastern nations, certainly not from mass expulsion. Only Egypt carried out expulsions, and those were numbered in the thousands, not hundreds of thousands.
To equate Jewish migration with the planned dispossession, expulsions and erasure Palestinians faced in 1948 is historical revisionism.
