A former U.S. official claims Washington didn’t want Gaddafi to resign — they wanted him eliminated because he pushed for an African economic union backed by gold, not the dollar. He says he even took Biden to Libya during the war, and that “oil and sovereign wealth” were the real objectives. If these claims are true… the “Arab Spring” might have been a much bigger geopolitical game than we ever imagined.
