This is a lie. The prohibition on acquiring territory by force was in the UN Charter from the beginning, ie 1945. It applied to Israel from May 1949 when Israel was admitted to the UN.

This is a lie. The prohibition on acquiring territory by force was in the UN Charter from the beginning, ie 1945. It applied to Israel from May 1949 when Israel was admitted to the UN. Israel's annexation of the Golan Heights and East Jerusalem in 1981 thus violated the UN Charter. The recent Knesset vote to annex the West Bank likewise violates the Charter. Israel claims the 1967 war was defensive, but Egypt, Jordan and Syria have always disputed this, and the fact remains that it was Israel that actually started the war.

Not when its a defensive war, as the six day war was considered. There is a reason the UN added it to the charter after Israel won the war. It was to try and prevent Israel from holding onto the land and being able to defend itself
