Recently, I've seen Dr Rahmeh come under fire from places that she really shouldn't be. The idea that a Palestinian shouldn't be allowed to talk about Zionism, Israel or 'Jewish supremacy' after a genocide in Gaza is beyond ridiculous! Her comments against usury too is a totally normative Muslim stance. Usury, known as riba in Arabic, is strictly forbidden in Islam because it is seen as an exploitative practice that can lead to financial instability and inequality. Unlike in Judaism, which permits to charge interest to non-Jews. This is one of the arguments Muslims use to showcase how Islam is a just religion. There is disagreement over the use of the term 'Jewish supremacy' but the idea that a Palestinian shouldn't be able to speak about it is just silly.
