America's "Freedom of Navigation" just died of hypocrisy The US spends a decade accusing others of “militarising sea lanes” and “threatening global shipping” Then it turns around, declares a unilateral blockade, seizes non‑US tankers in international waters, and calls it “defending freedom of navigation” The US just turned its own FONOP's into a mockery and third-rate joke 🤡 While the US Navy sails through the South China Sea and Taiwan Straits lecturing Beijing about "keeping sea lanes open, it is busy hijacking ships that dare trade with Venezuela—and by extension, China Washington just proved ‘freedom of navigation’ was never about keeping sea lanes open for everyone. It was about keeping them open for itself—and closed for anyone who disobeys "Freedom of Navigation" operations —More like "Free-for-me" state-sanctioned piracy operations 🦜🏴‍☠️
