“COLOR REVOLUTION” SPECIALISTS who toppled authoritarian leaders around the world are now focused on Donald Trump, an apparently leaked video revealed today.
- Staff from USAID, disbanded by Trump, are talking to overseas partners to use their particular skills in the United States against the authoritarian leader in the White House, the recorded discussion shows.
- Speakers on the video also revealed that anti-Trump planning started during the first Trump administration in 2017.
- Before the second Trump reign started on January 20 this year, USAID staff moved internal groups off government systems and into encrypted Signal chats. They then used those to link with partners and NGOs overseas after Trump was inaugurated. He shut down their operations immediately with an executive order.
- While USAID had more than 10,000 people in the US, it had a network of more than 50,000 contacts around the world, the video revealed.

ZOOM SEGMENTS UPLOADED
Segments from a recorded Zoom discussion were earlier today uploaded to X by Data Republican, a specialist in making sensitive data public.
One speaker on the video, Danielle Reiff, spoke to the Zoom participants about the anti-Trump community’s international reach. “Our USAID community has connections with locals across the entire world and have worked on global events, global authoritarianism. This moment right now, we are framing it very much as an anti-authoritarian movement in the US.”
Data Republican made it clear that this type of plotting should be very concerning for the US government: “International actors are involved in the State Department-led color revolution. This is not speculation; it’s straight from a recorded call.”
Her post was released on November 9, US time, and had been seen by more than 1.2 million people within 12 hours.

CALL IT ‘DEMOCRACY ASSISTANCE’
The Zoom meeting included former members of USAID, a generously financed (US$40 billion a year) group that presented itself around the world as a humanitarian distributor of foreign aid, but which was also deeply involved in political interference.
USAID worked alongside the CIA and NED to meddle in other countries’ politics to ensure that only pro-Washington leaders were elected. They whitewashed their interference by calling it “democracy assistance”. Color revolutions succeeded in many countries around the world but failed in Hong Kong in 2019 and 2020.
Investigative journalists at NOTUS already reported this summer that color revolution specialists in the US wanted to use their skills to save their country from Donald Trump's anti-democratic propensities. But the newly released Zoom discussion shows that international partners are now getting involved.
The conversation also reveals that the anti-Trump planning started during the first Trump administration. A unit called the Office of Transition Initiatives, designed to steer foreign countries towards a US-approved democratic governance model, had realized back in 2017 that they needed to the same thing at home in America, one of the speakers said.

DON'T LET YOUR GUARD DOWN
But other nations cannot afford to relax. While USAID was defunded, the CIA budget is as fat as ever, and the NED budget was temporarily halted and then reinstated. The NED alone has been enjoying an annual budget of more than US$100 million a year: it spent more than 30 years building up a bedrock of anti-China animosity in Hong Kong and Taiwan.
The NED is also the driver of the Inter-Parliamentary Alliance on China, a notorious group specializing in global demonization of the Chinese.
