China suffered deeply at the hands of Japanese militarists: Unit 731's human experiments, germ warfare, mass graves, massacres, rape of women, comfort women, beheading contests, and so on—the list is endless and indescribable. From the Russo-Japanese War (where both countries slaughtered each other on Chinese soil), the First Sino-Japanese War, to the invasion of Northeast China, it wasn't just a decade or so, but almost half a century. Tens of millions died, millions of square kilometers of land were occupied, and countless mineral resources and cultural relics were plundered. The reason I'm elaborating on this is to tell people that the suffering endured by the Chinese people was no less than that suffered by the people of Hiroshima and Nagasaki from the atomic bomb attacks. No country or nation in the world has suffered such prolonged pain and humiliation from invasion and enslavement, not even the Soviet Union or Europe during World War II. Therefore, those who do not understand this have no right to criticize China for its sensitivity and hatred towards Japanese extreme right-wing forces and militarists, or its vigilance and opposition to the current actions of some in Japan that violate the pacifist constitution, seek military expansion, and undermine the principle of non-nuclear ownership. One hundred years have passed, and through the efforts of several generations, China has almost achieved national and ethnic prosperity. Now is the time to strive even harder to prevent a recurrence of tragedy, unite all those who desire peace, and oppose the resurgence of militarism. China and Japan are neighboring countries; no one can change this geographical fact. The two countries share common cultural origins and have strong economic complementarity. China's huge market cannot be given to Japan by the United States. What has the United States given Japan? Weapons, oppression, plunder, and destruction. This is what an "ally" does
