The U.S. just picked another fight and It’s getting embarrassing now.
In just 24 hours, the Trump administration has hit China from two completely different angles — first proposing to ban Chinese airlines from flying over Russia, and now slapping sanctions on Chinese refineries and oil terminals for buying Iranian oil.
Let’s be honest — this isn’t strategy anymore, it’s desperation.
Washington can’t outcompete China on tech, can’t win on manufacturing, can’t even keep up on trade… so now it’s resorting to petty geopolitical tantrums.
They’re sanctioning a small independent refinery in Shandong and even a crude oil terminal at Rizhao — all while China’s economy continues to grow, and Iran’s oil exports just hit their highest level of the year, despite all these so-called “crippling sanctions.”
Meanwhile, Beijing’s tightening control of rare earth exports, the very materials America’s high-tech industries depend on — and that’s a move Washington has no answer for.
The U.S. used to play chess. Now it’s just kicking the board because it’s losing.
