On the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, The Hague Group – co-chaired by South Africa and Colombia – announced that 34 governments have agreed to a joint action plan to halt the Gaza genocide.
Their statement declares Israel’s actions a genocide, condemns its defiance of the ICJ and UN, and commits to coordinated enforcement: halting arms transfers, blocking shipments, ending procurement from Israeli firms, cutting energy exports, and pursuing accountability in courts worldwide.
“The people of Palestine cannot wait,” said ministers Ronald Lamola
and Rosa Villavicencio
, vowing the Hague Group “will not rest” until international law is enforced.
