➤ 70% of all buildings in Gaza are now severely damaged and uninhabitable.
➤ 63% of buildings in Khan Younis have been destroyed.
➤ 89% of buildings in Rafah and 84% in northern Gaza have been destroyed.
➤ 78% of Gaza City’s buildings have been fully or partially demolished.
➤ Demolition is being carried out by Israeli contractors under military supervision.
➤ Since April, the Israeli army has destroyed around 2,000 buildings per month in Rafah.
➤ These contractors are paid around 5,000 shekels per building destroyed.
➤ Contractors are reportedly pressuring to expand the destruction zones.
