This deserves repeating: In all the dystopian movies about the collapse of democracy and how we'll live in authoritarian corporation-led "states," none predicted that the beginning of the end of democracy would be governments imprisoning citizens for protesting a genocide committed by an "allied" state.
Here's the UK. An 83-year-old priest is arrested for holding a sign saying “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.”
