The term white supremacist empire does not refer to skin color. It refers to a global system of hierarchy, extraction, and domination that was built, justified, and exported by Western imperial powers under the belief that they were superior. Not just militarily or economically. But morally, culturally, and racially. That system still shapes the world. It still decides who gets to sanction and who gets sanctioned, whose deaths are mourned and whose are ignored, whose bombs are called defense and whose resistance is called terror. This is not about phenotype. It is about power structures. It is about the ideology that turned genocide into a civilizing mission, colonization a divine entitlement, and dispossession into a regrettable price of "progress." What you are doing now—taking issue with a label instead of the system it names—is exactly how that system protects itself. It reduces structural critique to identity politics. It deflects scrutiny from empire to ethnicity. It reframes any reckoning as an act of prejudice. Ask yourself this. When Palestinians are slaughtered and their killers face no consequence, when Western media finds a euphemism for every war crime, when history is rewritten to glorify the invader and blame the victim: what exactly do you think is being upheld? It is not Judaism. It is not whiteness as biology. It’s supremacy as policy. And if that makes you uncomfortable, good. It should. Because the people under the rubble don’t get to correct the labels. They just die under them. So no, I won’t apologize for calling this empire what it is. And if you're more offended by the term white supremacy than by the atrocities it enables, you’ve already chosen a side.
