They say it is about security, but it is always about submission. They say it is about peace, but it is always about power. They say it is complicated, but it is never complicated when the bombs are falling. Only when the victim speaks. Palestine did not need to be erased. It only needed to be renamed. Its people did not need to vanish. They only needed to be called something else. "Human shields." "Militants." "Terrorist infrastructure." Anything but human. Anything but native. Anything but real. This is not journalism. It is camouflage. The role of Western media is not to report what is happening. It is to make it look like nothing happened at all. They will show you a burnt-out building, but never the family that lived there. They will show you a map of Israel, but never the village it replaced. They will show you "clashes," but never occupation. They will show you the hostage, but never the cage. Because truth is a threat to empire. And in this system, truth has no homeland. Only slogans. Only silence. Only sponsors. They say Israel is defending itself. But who gave it the right to exist by erasing another people? They say America is neutral. But who funded every bomb, armed every plane, and shielded every massacre at the United Nations? This is not about peace. It never was. It is about domination dressed as democracy. It is about apartheid branded as civilization. It is about burying the victims twice. First with war. Then with language. Occupation does not need facts. It only needs faith. Faith in the lie. Faith in the repetition. Faith that no one will care enough to look deeper. And that is how it survives. Not by force alone. But by the cowardice of those who watch and say nothing. By the corruption of those who report and conceal. By the complicity of those who pretend it is too complex to take a side. So let us be clear. This is not a conflict. This is colonization.
