USAID’s Food for Peace is a conduit for corporate welfare to Big Agro and shipping giants. It dumps subsidized US grain on developing countries, destroying local farms and triggering migration waves to the north. It’d be cheaper and better for long term food security to source grain locally and stop punishing independent countries that prioritize their own development with sanctions.
