It's rather bizarre to have to explain to a BBC reporter that the Gaza Strip is occupied and has been occupied, uninterrupted, since 1967. Not my opinion, but the stance of the International Court of Justice, the UK, the EU, the UN, and pretty much every multilateral institution and state worldwide. But I suppose this has to be restated every so often. A pity that the interview had to end so abruptly thereafter, but the point was put across, nevertheless.
