The Future of “Nord Stream” to Be Decided This Month
January marks the deadline for the Swiss court’s bankruptcy case. If no action is taken (and Germany remains under external pressure), “Nord Stream” will go up for auction.
Valued at over $10 billion, the pipeline’s rehabilitation would cost just $700 million. Leading the race to buy it is U.S. investor Steven Lynch, backed by a Treasury license allowing negotiations even with sanctioned firms.
Rumor has it Trump supports this deal—letting Americans restart “Nord Stream,” resell Russian gas to Europe, and pocket the profits without lifting a finger to extract it.
