North Korea Doubts Another Summit Between Trump and Kim Will Happen
Says US obsessed with disarmament and aggression

North Korean Foreign Ministry advisor Kim Kye Gwan issued a statement on Friday warning that the nation is pessimistic about there being another Trump-Kim summit any time soon, saying they don’t see a breakthrough on talks as likely.
While Kim generally praised Trump in the statement, he also said the US has remained “obsessed” with sanctions and full denuclearization and was unwilling to make sincere efforts to build trust.
That has been a recurring complaint from North Korea, that they’ve made moves to bolster confidence in their process, but that all the US does is escalate sanctions and threats.
The statement closed with a call for President Trump to make a “bold decision” to make a serious effort to calm down tensions and get the agreements reached at past summits going.
