middle eastern art at the V& A . pushing politics.

The show seems to be working with set stereotypes and with a def political agenda. The stress on  women, as artists and as subjects, definitely  points to a continuing political agenda about the West  liberating  and 'empowering' Eastern Women.  Using them , actually, to promote an age old political game.
