Look at the framing of this headline/subhead, absolutely wild. The headline subtly implies Iran had a role in 9/11 (it didn’t). The subhead glosses over the illegal U.S. war on Iraq to make Iran look like the imperialist aggressor—despite being surrounded by the U.S. military. NYT still manufacturing consent for endless war.
