THE U.S. ARMED FORCES are so depleted by the unpopular attack on Iran that they would struggle to defend their own nation, let alone fight China, the Washington Post reported today.

A new round of concerns were raised for Secretary of War Pete Hegseth in a top secret internal periodical by the heads of the Army, Navy and Air Force and other senior commanders, the paper said.

They warnings appear in the latest edition of the Secretary of Defense Orders Book, a twice-a-month newsletter which is classified secret.

“Several U.S. military leaders have advised Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth that prolonging large-scale operations against Iran is unsustainable and risks weakening their ability to confront threats elsewhere, including the U.S. homeland,” the Washington Post said.

FIGHTING FICTIONAL BATTLES
The paper added that the Navy had shouldered too much of the burden: “The Navy’s only dedicated aircraft carrier in the Pacific, a linchpin of the military’s plan to deter Beijing, was sent to the Middle East…”

U.S. propaganda says that China is on the verge of invading Australia, Japan and other countries in East Asia, and so must be “deterred”, although no respected analyst, east or west, believes this.

As for invasion threats on “the U.S. homeland”, this is a common refrain but is also considered by military commentators to be fearmongering fiction used to keep military budgets sky-high.

There is no invasion threat for the U.S. homeland.

Arguably, the only foreign power that successfully invaded and occupied parts of the United States mainland was Great Britain in 1812. That country is now seen as a loyal vassal nation, one of the three biggest hosts for the US military in Europe.
