The fear isn’t China’s growth, it’s the end of a world where one empire decided what “progress” meant.
Sachs is right:
A civilization that united early, governed long, and invaded rarely was never the threat.
The threat was losing the privilege of naming others a threat.
History is turning the page.
Some nations read it.
Some refuse to.
