China is a target for one reason and one reason only:
China refused to develop its economy to resemble a colony of Washington. Instead it developed its economy to staggering heights with an alternative economic system, showing the world that American capitalism is not the only model for development left in the world after the collapse of Soviet communism.
Additionally, and perhaps most importantly, China refused to bend the knee to Washington’s hegemonic diktats.
The US would rather go to war with China rather than allow it to surpass it economically, and any country that doesn’t obey US diktats is viewed as an enemy.
