How China killed US military-industrial complex.
Beijing will restrict exports of not only rare earth minerals, but also the technology related to mining, refining and permanent magnets.
And just like what the US does, other countries will be prohibited from re-exporting even it the products have just 0.1% of Chinese rare earths.
The US cannot make fighter jets, missiles etc. without Chinese imports.
Oops!
This is, of course, a retaliation for US policies on semiconductor chips and tools.
Interestingly, Trump will be meeting Xi later this month.
