Despite ignoring all legal and moral restraints and enjoying total air superiority and backing from the U.S. and E3 countries they were not able to pacify the Gaza Strip in two years of fighting or even implement regime change. It seems that the corrosive impact of corruption from Netanyahu and years of operating as a colonial police in the West Bank has thoroughly damaged the IDF whereas the Israeli Air Force and Mossad were more insulated and still function effectively.
