Zachary Foster
In 1937, the leader of the Zionist movement in Europe, Chaim Weizmann, described most Jews of Europe as "the dust on the wheels of history" since they lacked culture & thus were not wanted by the Zionist movement in Palestine: "We don't want our Tel Aviv to become another low-grade ghetto." Weizmann wanted only wealthy, strong and cultured Jews. All other Jews should accept whatever fate Europe's powers had in store for them. Zionist leaders internalized the antisemitism that was pervasive in Europe and thus saw most Jews as inferior human beings, just like the anti-semites and Nazis. source (p.531): books.google.com.mx/books?id=qcrKD A deep dive on the history of Zionism: palestinenexus.com/courses/p/zion
