Back in 2006, Israel used its blockade of Gaza to secretly put the population on a starvation 'diet', counting the calories allowed in so children there would become permanently hungry and malnourished.
As Susannah O'sullivan explains here, Israel has been using similar 'scientific' calculations – drawn from the same genocide playbook – to maximise the number of Palestinian children whose lives can be sacrificed in the pursuit of a lowly Hamas 'target'.
