All the sanctimonious lawmakers, journalists, and pundits bemoaning the scourge of deep fakes and disinformation ought to keep their lips sealed!
Their cowardly silence on Israel's decades-long campaign of disinformation and deception is a damning indictment of their hypocrisy.
Consider that on the brink of the Iraq War, Mossad approached us with a sickeningly twisted plan to create a fake video depicting Saddam Hussein brutally raping a young boy.
They outlined a detailed strategy for its distribution and aggressively pushed the Agency to support and approve this abhorrent tactic.
It never came to pass, but only because another twisted gem from the ever-so "honest" Mossad supplanted it.
This time, the concept involved producing a false video featuring Osama bin Laden and high-ranking al-Qaeda figures gathered around a campfire, guzzling alcohol, boasting about their sexual exploits with boys, reveling in the viciousness of plundering and slaughtering innocent villagers, embezzling funds, and even desecrating Islam with sacrilegious commentary.
And this time, the video was produced in full.
Not only can anyone in the intelligence community can attest to this despicable episode, but the video itself remains in the CIA's possession, and there's abundant documentation of Mossad's involvement and commanding role in this abhorrent scandal!
Israel's eagerness to employ these underhanded methods exposes a flagrant, unrivaled contempt for truth and transparency, as well as a bottomless chasm of dishonesty that has corrupted the very fabric of international relations!
