The humanitarian crisis in Gaza is beyond catastrophic. Winter has arrived, affecting a devastated population left homeless, ill, wounded, malnourished, and heavily traumatized. How have 2.3 million people - half of them children - slipped out of the int'l community's concern?? The UNSC must urgently act to halt the genocide in Gaza. If political obstacles like the US veto persist, it's about time for the General Assembly to advance the Uniting for Peace resolution.
