Netanyahu wants the US to be the one that drops the nuke, even though Israel has their own illegal stash. Because Bibi correctly identifies that if Israel does it then Jews will adopt a stigma far worse than well poisoning. And rightly so. Thus he tries to get his puppet to do it for him.
