The Zionist movement’s alliance with Nazi Germany ran very deep, was materially beneficial to both the Nazis and the Zionists, and was based on:

 A shared desire to empty Europe of its Jews
  a shared belief in unscientific racial theories, mystical generalizations about "national character” & inclined towards "racial exclusiveness 
 A shared rejection of class consciousness
