Iran has turned US bases in the Gulf into no-go zones. 
US Navy commanders are now saying that US forces will not return to the Bahrain base.
Imagine the damage Iranian drones and missiles must have caused to the US naval base in Bahrain — US soldiers are now afraid to return to the base. 
The same situation exists at other US bases across the Gulf region.
